As another eventful week comes to an end, here's our weekly roundup of what's changed in the world of Casino television.
As we reported earlier in the week, CasinoTV has ceased its Sky operations for the forseeable future. However, we are pleased to report that the audio is now back on their trailer. The games are still completely live and interactive at their website, so, if you have money in your Casino TV account, you are still able to play, deposit and withdraw as normal!
We said farewell to Ruth Frances on Challenge Jackpot - she is moving on to pastures new. However, we can announce that ex Smart Live Casino presenter Johny Pach will be joining the team at Challenge Jackpot! We'd like to wish him all the best, and we hope he settles down comfortably into his new role.
The technical problems which have plagued SuperCasino are finally ironing themselves out. Now that their systems are stable, SuperCasino have reduced their game time to 1 minute 45 seconds instead of 2 minutes. There still appears to be a slight audio delay on the wheel camera on the Casino Floor, making the picture and sound slightly out of sync. The gameplay is not affected by this issue, and this is a very minor bug compared to the issues SuperCasino had after they launched their new look.
A few presenters at Smart Live Casino have been dropping hints that they are - once again - looking at extending their hours. Nothing is set in stone just yet, but some presenters have been saying that they may be looking at becoming the first 24 hour TV casino.
We reported last week that Smart Live Blackjack had been hitting several technical issues. We are pleased to report that these issues have been resolved by reverting back to the 15 second betting rounds. Although this slows down the pace of the game, nearly every game is able to be played normally.
Smart Live Casino also welcomed another new face to their team of presenters - Becky Hayes has joined the team, and already, she is settling down well! We took a close look at her spins, and whilst there were some first shift nerves, her technique is already at a good standard. Those of you in Yorkshire may recognise Becky's voice, as she is a DJ on one of Yorkshire's commercial radio stations!
Looking forward to the week ahead - just like this week - Smart Live Casino will be welcoming some more new faces, and we may see Johny Pach's debut on Challenge Jackpot!
